Structured Recovery Programs

Explore our comprehensive recovery programs designed to support individuals on their journey to a healthy lifestyle

Recovery Programs Overview

At Lighthouse Community Recovery Home, recovery is not a curriculum—it’s a culture. Each program is rooted in the shared belief that healing begins with structure and is sustained by community. We offer a structured, intentional environment that challenges the status quo of traditional treatment, blending therapeutic community principles with hands-on workforce training and peer accountability.

Participants don’t just learn values—they practice them. Whether sitting in a peer-led support circle, preparing for employment with Jobs & Hope WV, or training in heavy equipment operation or woodworking at our vocational partner sites, every moment is an opportunity to rebuild identity and dignity.

Our structured recovery model provides:

Safe Housing Support

We offer more than shelter—we offer a foundation for transformation. Our home is rooted in accountability and community, offering a safe, sober space where recovery thrives. Structured expectations allow individuals to regain a sense of order and predictability.

Life Skills & Community Immersion

Participants attend classes and interactive workshops that cover financial literacy, conflict resolution, communication skills, parenting, nutrition, and relapse prevention. But more importantly, they apply what they learn inside a living therapeutic community, where consistency and courage replace chaos and avoidance.

Job Readiness Training

In partnership with local employers and workforce development programs, participants engage in real-world employment pathways. From OSHA-compliant certification tracks to on-site job skills coaching, participants are guided to secure meaningful work with long-term potential.

A Lighthouse in the Storm

Like the lighthouse itself, this program exists to illuminate the dangers many never saw coming. In times of personal darkness—addiction, homelessness, trauma—the structure of the program becomes a beacon. The Therapeutic Community teaches not only values like accountability, compassion, and self-respect, but offers real-time opportunities to practice them.

"We are not just recovering from addiction—we are recovering purpose, connection, and hope."

We believe that transformation must happen both internally and externally. That’s why Lighthouse integrates the body, mind, and mission of each participant.

  • The body is supported through safe shelter and consistent routines.

  • The mind is challenged through insight-based programming and self-awareness tools.

  • The mission is restored through structured labor, mentorship, and vocational alignment.

Whether someone comes to us from incarceration, street homelessness, or the aftermath of relapse, we offer a place where redemption is practical, hope is active, and healing is shared.
